The Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is a peer-driven and administratively supported organization with the primary goal of fostering instructional excellence among educators, supporting student success, and promoting the exchange of high-impact teaching and learning practices university-wide.
Mission
Wenzhou-Kean University (WKU) Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) collaborates with colleagues and graduate students across the University to help instructors excel in their teaching, and to support student learning. The Center is dedicated to personalize instructors’ professional development by offering a variety of programs, services, and resources. Instructors have great opportunities to connect with colleagues, explore teaching practices and pedagogies, access to the current and emerging technologies, and apply and assess different instructional strategies in classes. The CTL is committed to enhance the culture of teaching and learning on campus, and further, the quality of education at WKU.

Staff
Jingyuan Fu(Olivia)
Dr. Jingyuan Fu currently serves as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Wenzhou-Kean University, where she promotes innovative teaching practices and supports faculty development. She earned her Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with a focus on Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Houston. Dr. Fu is dedicated to assisting faculty design research-based, technology-enhanced learning environments that support effective teaching across multiple formats.

Yirui Jiang (Sandy)
Yirui Jiang is an instructional designer at the Center for Teaching and Learning. She holds an M.S. in Educational Technology from New York University and a B.A. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine. Her primary passion revolves around the realm of educational technology and its capacity to revolutionize the methods of teaching and learning. She is committed to creating innovative programs, services, and resources that can genuinely enhance the equity and efficiency of the educational experience for both educators and learners by integrating cutting-edge technology and exploring effective teaching methods.

Jingru Cheng(Claire)
Jingru Cheng is a student of the Global MBA program at Wenzhou-Kean University. She serves as a graduate assistant at the Center for Teaching and Learning, deeply involved in teaching support services, contributing to the development of faculty and the optimization of teaching practices. At the same time, she integrates GMBA management thinking into educational scenarios, achieving mutual empowerment between theory and practice.

Anqi Wei (Angel)
Anqi Wei is currently a student in the Global MBA program at Wenzhou-Kean University and also serves as a graduate assistant at the university's Center for Teaching and Learning. In her role, she mainly assists the team in integrating teaching resources and optimizing service processes. Relying on her business perspective, she provides support to enhance the teaching experience of faculty members and the effectiveness of teaching support, making teaching services more in line with the actual needs of both teachers and students.

Yan Tang(Tanya)
Yan Tang is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Education Administration at Wenzhou-Kean University. At the same time, she serves as a graduate teaching assistant at the Center for Teaching and Learning. Her primary responsibilities include assisting the department in organizing teaching training sessions, conducting teaching research, and investigating teaching tools, all aimed at providing professional teaching support and services to teachers and students.
