Course Substitution

Course Substitution

Imporant Notice

1) This request should be submitted in the event that there is a need to substitute the required coursework for a degree/program.

2) If the student expects to graduate at the end of the current semester, there is no need to submit a substitution form. Advisors should document substitution details when auditing their graduation applications on ONCE.

3) Before initiating the application, the student must consult with their advisor and obtain the advisor’s agreement regarding the course substitution.

4) The student is only required to submit basic personal information; the specific course substitution details should be completed by the advisor.

5) Requests involving “In Progress” substitution courses will not be processed until the course has received an official grade and meets the program’s minimum graduation grade requirement. The application will remain pending until these conditions are fulfilled.

6) Approval of the course substitution form does not guarantee graduation; all degree requirements must still be satisfied.
