Wenzhou Industrial Economy Research Base (Wenzhou Municipal Key Research Base for Philosophy and Social Sciences)

Founded in 2017, Wenzhou Industrial Economy Research Base is a municipal‑level key research base for philosophy and social sciences in Wenzhou. Since its establishment, the base has taken the coordinated development of modern agriculture and vocational education as its mission. Committed to accelerating agricultural modernization and talent‑team development, it focuses on addressing major theoretical and practical issues arising in the process of agricultural modernization and the cultivation of agricultural‑sector talents.

The base currently has 5 professors and 18 associate professors. Over the years, through interdisciplinary integration and complementary strengths, its research team has conducted systematic and in‑depth studies on entrepreneurship education, humanities‑oriented education, talent cultivation for modern agriculture, and the development of modern agriculture in Wenzhou. It boasts a vibrant research atmosphere and fruitful outputs. The base has secured 4 humanities and social science projects funded by the Ministry of Education, 13 philosophy and social science planning projects of Zhejiang Province, 10 projects from Zhejiang Federation of Social Sciences Circles, and more than 50 Wenzhou municipal philosophy and social science projects. Over 10 papers have been published in various core journals. It has gradually grown into an important force advancing agricultural‑sector talent training and agricultural modernization in Wenzhou.
