Wenzhou‑Kean University International Communication Research Center (Wenzhou Municipal New‑type Think Tank)

As a member institution of the Zhejiang Provincial New‑type Think Tank Alliance and a Wenzhou Municipal New‑type Think Tank, Wenzhou‑Kean University International Communication Research Center aims to tell compelling Chinese stories. It actively mobilizes high‑level international talents as well as faculty and student resources to carry out online and offline international cultural communication activities and distinctive research projects. Drawing on academic resources in communication studies, the center has accumulated practical experience and research outputs in fields including global communication, cross‑cultural communication, overseas media operation, public brand research, press release systems and implementation‑effect evaluation, press reform and journalism education. It has produced the bilingual documentary series Foreign Perspectives on Wenzhou – Walking with Kean.
