WKU Chemical Materials Research Center

WKU Chemical Materials Research Center mainly conducts interdisciplinary research spanning chemistry, life sciences, materials, energy, environment and other fields. Its key research areas cover preparation and green‑oriented applications of nanomaterials, optoelectronic functional materials, green preparation and applications of polymer materials, application research of nanomaterials in new energy, green pharmaceutical synthesis, and computational research on molecular structural chemistry.

The center strives to develop into a domestically advanced research base featuring high‑level interdisciplinary integration. Leveraging the Sino‑foreign cooperative education platform of Wenzhou‑Kean University, it aims to build itself as a platform for international exchange and a talent‑training base for interdisciplinary chemical research. Rooted in the Wenzhou National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone, it explores innovative industry‑university‑research cooperation models to grow into an industrial‑oriented base that boosts industrial upgrading and serves local economic development.
