Dr. YAN Xiaopeng holds a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Hangzhou University, a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Canberra (Australia), and a Ph.D. in Education and Economic Management from Peking University. He holds a professional title of Research Fellow. Currently, he serves as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee at Wenzhou-Kean University, as well as a member of the Wenzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

He assists the Party Committee Secretary in ideological and political education for students, Student Party and Youth League work, and is responsible for united front work, publicity, and ideological matters. He oversees the Office of Admissions, Career and Alumni, the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of Communications and Public Relations, and the International Studies Center.

Previously, he held various positions including Deputy Director of the President’s Office at Wenzhou University, Director of the Student Affairs Office, Executive Vice Dean of the College of Continuing Education, Director of the Office of International Relations, Dean of the College of International Cooperation, Council Member of Wenzhou-Kean University (Preparatory), President of Wenzhou University Italian Branch, and Director of the Italian Research Center at Wenzhou University. He has led multiple research projects commissioned by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, the Zhejiang Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education, and provincial innovation teams.
