CFSI Spring Series Launch and Multiple Teacher Academic Activities
On Friday we kicked off our spring series in the Center for Faculty Scholarship and Impact (CFSI) with a presentation from Dr. Jennifer Chen about her “why” and “how” of her publication pipeline, and we look forward to learning from an amazing line-up of Kean faculty at the upcoming sessions! This spring, we also have a wonderful opportunity to share faculty scholarship and creative works with our Kean and NJCU colleagues at our 4th annual Faculty Research Conference on May 8th--make sure to put in your proposal by March 16th--information can be found in the CFSI section of this Memo!
And while you are working on proposals, please submit your application to serve as a Provost Faculty Fellow in 2026-2027! We are looking for faculty who are eager to support other faculty across our three centers and our campus locations in several areas of instructional practice, community-engaged learning, and within our scholarship and impact advancement activities. Please find the application link here, with a deadline of Monday, March 23. The fellowship notices will be announced by April 15.
We are also thrilled to announce our 2nd year of Faculty Innovation in Teaching Awards! Micro-grants of $1000 will be given to faculty who have been exploring innovative ways to engage their students, spark new curricular approaches, and design learning experiences. The application link is here, also with a deadline of Monday, March 23 and awards announced by April 15.
