比赛以公平公正为原则，以丰富和活跃校园生活、促进交流与沟通为宗旨。比赛分为已备演讲、即兴演讲两个环节，最后依据评委打分计算出成绩，颁发奖项。

The competition is based on the principle of justice, aiming to enrich and animate student’s campus life. The competition is divided into prepared speech and impromptu speech. Finally, speakers will get an award according to each judge’ score.

On October 28, The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai celebrated its 100th anniversary in Shanghai. More than 500 members and government officials from China and US attended the reception banquet. A delegation from Wenzhou-Kean University led by Mr. Philip Connelly, Executive Vice President of Kean University, Mr. Qian Qiang, Vice Chancellor of Wenzhou-Kean Univesity, and Dr. Michael Cooper, Dean of College of Business at Kean University, attended the event.
