The 3rd Annual Kean Conference on Teaching

The 3rd Annual Kean Conference on Teaching will take place on Zoom Friday, October 2. The event will open at 7p Beijing Time to better accommodate your faculty’s availability. We intend to specifically reserve the first round of sessions for WKU faculty, with later time blocks dedicated to other campuses.

Here’s the text we’re using to advertise:

• Mark your calendar for Friday, Oct 2, 2026, 7–11p (China). The 2026 conference theme is “Teaching as Connection”. 
• We invite proposals from paired facilitators (no solos!) relating to the theme, broadly interpreted. Preference will be given to proposals aligned with, or exploring, one of Kean’s current strategic initiatives. Proposals that highlight the distinctiveness of your “home” Kean campus are also preferred. 
• We can’t wait to learn how our incredible faculty are connecting—with students, with research, with their communities, and more—at each of Kean’s global campuses.
