Instructions for Renting Graduation Gowns for 2020 Graduates

In order to do a good job in the distribution of graduation gowns for graduates in 2020, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

I. Graduates choose a corresponding graduation gown according to their major:

Green hood: Finance, Accounting, Global Business, Marketing
Gray hood: English, Psychology

Yellow hood: Computer Science, Mathematical Sciences

Purple hood: Graphic Design, Architectural Studies

II. Graduation gowns collection requirements:

Collection time: May 31^st – June 2^nd

9:00-12:00，13:00-16:00

June 6th, from 8:00 to the beginning of the commencement, first floor of the Athletics Center

Collection location: WKU BOOKSTORE, General Education Hall, Building C103

Notes:

1. The graduation gown received by the graduates is a package, including bachelor gown, hood, cap, black tassel with the year charm and graduation stole. Please check the integrity before leaving.
2. Affected by the epidemic, 2020 graduation gowns are provided by the school, free of rent, but a deposit of 150 yuan shall be paid when collecting it. Alipay payment is recommended, and the deposit shall be returned according to the original payment method after completing the return procedures.

III. Graduation gowns return requirements:

Return time and location:

June 6^th, from the end of the commencement to 16:00, first floor of the Athletics Center;

June 8^th -June 9^th, 9:00-12:00, 13:00-16:00, BOOKSTORE (General Education Hall, Building C103);

If it is not returned before 16:00 on June 9^th, it will be regarded as a purchase of the gown, and the deposit of 150 yuan will not be refunded.

Return requirements:

1. Only the bachelor gown and graduation stole shall be returned.
2. The bachelor’s cap, hood and black tassel with the year charm are the graduation gifts given by the school, and the graduates can keep them as souvenirs.
3. If the bachelor gown or the graduation stole returned by students has major stains, damages, missing parts or others that will influence the next rental, the students shall compensate according to the selling price:

Bachelor gown  100 yuan / piece

Graduation stole  50 yuan / piece

IV. Other considerations:

1. All graduates are required to abide by the above schedule and requirements, and collect and return the graduation gown on time
2. The borrowed graduation gowns shall be kept properly to ensure cleanness, hygiene, cleanliness, and no damage.
3. If graduates are interested in buying bachelor gown, graduation stole, etc., they can go to the Bookstore to purchase.
