Dr. Zhang received his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Dong Hua University, China in 1983 and 1986, respectively. He received his PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky, USA in 2011. Dr. Zhang had been an instructor at Dong Hua University from 1986-1992. He has 15+ years experiences in IT industry. He had worked as a senior engineer in R&D department at MINDRAY Medical International Co., Ltd, HUAWEI Technologies, etc. He had also worked as a senior software developer in financial sector in Chicago, USA for seven years. He is currently an assistant professor in Computer Science Department at Wenzhou-Kean University. He served as a reviewer and technical program committee member of several international conferences, such as IEEE 2010 International Conference on Computational and Information Sciences, Chengdu, China, IEEE 2015 International Conference on Computer and Communications (ICCC 2015), ICCC 2016, 20th Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS 2016), etc.  His research interests include Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, Computational Finance, Parallel and Scientific Computing, Software Engineering, Computer Simulation, Data Mining, and Machine Learning, etc.
